Lemon Meringue Pie

Al mentioned the other day that he would like to have a lemon meringue pie.  He would have been perfectly happy to have had an already made one, but I decided to make one myself.  I should say attempt!
I am not much of a cook and have done very little baking, but I found a recipe on the back of an Argo corn starch box.
I am not making the pie dough so I bought a frozen already made pie crust.
Wish me luck!

SUCCESS!
It tasted good as well as looked pretty.  The Argo Corn Starch recipe is a keeper.  It seemed to help with the meringue and also to thicken up the pie filling.

Hope the pie comes out well. I am considering make one too since lemons are so plentiful here.

Loved the flower photos. Isn't it wonderful when someone who has the money will donate it to protect something like that.

Karen, great job! Looks yummy - just like my Grammie Bair's pies from way back when! Her butterscotch pies had meringue on that looked like that. Thanks - now I'm hungry!
