One thing Al and I do, it take time to “smell the roses.”
We took a little drive yesterday around town to look at all the pretty spring blooms.
Here is a little of what we saw.
The Azaleas are starting to get real pretty.
Dogwoods
We haven’t figured out what exactly this is, but isn’t it beautiful?
Japanese Red Maple
Every day it seems there are new things blooming so we try to get out and look often. Spring is certainly beautiful in Georgia. It’s so much prettier than Tampa’s spring.

Karen, your pictures are awesome - love the flowers, trees, birds, and cat pics! Have been so busy getting ready for our exchange student from Brazil. Today he arrived and what a delightful day we've had getting to know him. He's a chip off the old block - just like his dad - whom we hosted about 30 years ago. Spring is in the air, for sure! Connie
How fun it must be get to know your exchange student and relive you time with his father! Enjoy.
Back at ya - It has been a great first week with our exchange student. We've doing Skype with his family back home. Also, his family is coming here for a surprise visit in the beginning of May. Can't wait!
