We have actually raised a baby fawn ..till she turned 9 months old. Her first 8 weeks were in my farm kitchen in a box..and when she did try to walk..she looked just like Bambi on ice..the floor was to slick..lol

Those were good and sad memories..to raise something that you know you have to give back to nature is so hard.

She thought she was a goat..after we put her in their pen.

What a wonderful story. We need more stories like that in the news, rather than all the doom and gloom.

We have a doe that comes into our yard that has twins this year. They are so cute! I don't even try to garden here. We don't have the right fencing and if the deer don't eat it the gophers will!
