Got up this morning and the thermometer said it was 37 degrees.
I believed it until I went out to my car and found ICE on the windshield. It was NOT frost, but a good coat of ice.
Boy is the weather different here compared to Tampa. It was in the 50's in Tampa according to Mom. Highly unusual for Tampa.
It warmed up into the low 70's today with no wind and lots of sun. A beautiful day.
After 30 years of Tampa, Florida living, we moved to 11 acres in south Georgia. This is to be our "halfway" house...halfway to our dream of full time living in our RV. A temporary stopping off point.

39 Degrees!
Thursday was hot. We had unseasonably warm weather, in the mid 90's.
Friday a cold front moved in.
It is now Monday morning and we got down to 39 degrees. What a difference. Saturday got up to 60 degrees. It was very windy, cloudy and cold. Sunday it was sunny and was up to about 62, but with the sun it felt much warmer.
Tampa got down into the upper 40's as well. Unusual weather.

Cooler weather on the way
We got a little taste of fall about 2 weeks of fall, followed by abnormally hot, muggy weather.
Now we are expecting the coolest weather of the year starting Friday. They are forecasting it to get down to 48 that night and 70's during the day. I think one day next week may not get out of the 60's.
It will be a nice change once we get through the rainy weather that brings the cool front.
